Chopin night

Église Saint-Éphrem-le-Syriaque

17 Rue des Carmes
75005 Paris, France

Having visited his grave, we spent an evening at a piano recital, which was held at this church. The cute little church was opened in 1733. The interior is shabby. The pianist and the works he played, could be better and the concert cost €31 ($34.92) per ticket, is grossly overpriced. Americans seemed to be the main audience.

I’ve been to many concerts, chamber music and recitals in the churches or castles in Europe but the experience were far more memorable, and less expensive. Of course, none of them had this many Americans in attendance.
