An orchid classs

@ NYBG. The lecturer has been with the NYBG for 9 years and many example of the orchids are from his own home. He did say that you need to fertilize (twice a month?), repot every 2-3 years (?), and the best light are east and west – southern light is too strong, may burn them. I’m no expert – cause I don’t have a green thumb, but my orchids are thriving on my southern exposure window. He also says that June-Aug is a good time to move orchid out – they love the fresh air. The most common type to have is Moth Orchids, and they’re easy to take care of.
