I don’t remember where we saw the light show, at Aswan or Luxor. It was at night, off to an island.

Egypt

Initially, I wanted to go to Istanbul but the tours were fully booked. The agent, then suggested to Egypt, but I needed to fly out there the night before, due to no seat on the same flight; on the return flight, however they would have a space for me with the group.

I went for a week, April 28 – May 5 in 1984; flew between three cities: Cairo, Aswan and Luxor. Almost being kidnapped in Cairo.
