The dining hall is pleasant, and they’ve a small parking lot on site. I purchased from two vendors today.
Kelai Qin 客来勤 #15 at the back of the room.
– Spicy Fish head 剁椒鱼头 – very good
– Spicy fish filet 水煮活鱼 – ok
– Beef and green pepper 角椒牛肉丝 – a little below ok
– Yuxiang Rosi 鱼香肉丝 – terrible -> too sweet
Lanzhou Handpulled noodle 兰州拉面
The cumin lamb pancake is great; the beef (?) pancake is so so. And I’m so bright to order a Yunnan Mixiang with beef, not too good.

Went there to help a friend out. The area is mixed commercial and residential, which means parking is not easy. But Wednesdays are good because there are Mon/Thur and Tue/Fri alternate no parking. I got a parking ticket because I do not look, oh well.
The court house is in better shape than I expected. Pretty empty. People are friendly and helpful.
In the record room, the clerks put this no help sign but people were really helpful; $.25 per print.

Love love their hot milk! Don’t see this little thing dispenser often. Most places put milk/2%/low fat/Half n half in thermo to keep them chilled. I like my coffee latte style: 90% hot milk and 10% coffee -:) ha ha ha I don’t really know coffee. Once I asked for the geisha coffee but couldn’t remember the name … so I asked for concubine. ha ha ha. It took the guy a few seconds to realize what this little old Chinese woman is asking -:)))
Good Columbian coffee!

I didn’t like to walk but as age moves on, I play less tennis, walk seems to be more attractive now. Many long walks are during my travels. After a few years of walking, I’ll have to say that I do enjoy it. And bought my first pair of hiking boots with Gore-tex (whatever that means) on our way to Sunken Meadow State Park in 2018.

The first pier was built in 1659.
Nowadays, there are many piers in the city that had been converted to public space, which are wonderful to visit, to dine, to relax. A few along side of High Line, and many more are lined the FDR, Hudson River Park, the Battery, the South Street Sea Port.
I had my wedding banquet at Pier 17 @ South Street Seaport.

It’s been a long time since I last visited it. In 1990s it was Red Camellia (红山茶) run by a lady from Kunming. Before her it was Chopstick (?). Not sure Elaine

Rocking chair, decent food, nice wine glass, but SLOW service. Oh boy. It’s Saturday and they have only one girl working outside. We were thinking to go to Cork n’ Hearth again didn’t want to spend a lot of time, so picked this one.
Many restaurants close after 2:30 in Lenox, even on Saturday. Oh well.

Like it a LOT.
I was in the mood of ice cream – someone who doesn’t like sweet.
It has an outdoor and indoor seating, with a HUGE bathroom. It’s small and welcoming. The menu board looks a little intimidating – too many stuff to choose from. Their chocolate is pretty good. I got the sea salt almond bark … and brought them home. Guess I’m not a sweet eater -:(
The town Kent is quaint, on Route 7.

Koussevitzky Music Shed @ Tanglewood is the major venue, which is named after the Russia-born conductor Serge Koussevitzky (wiki, 1874-1951) who spent 25 years (1924-49) with BSO.
We take in the Friday evening concert @ 8 pm and Saturday morning rehearsal @ 10:30 am. Both are great, and we’re pretty lucky with the weather – foretasted as raining.
They’ve added many amenities – eateries to building. The compound is nicely kept – thanks for us too -:) we keep it clean as much as we can – after the performance, look, how clean and green it is!
The ushers are mostly volunteers. One older lady I spoke with, she was doubting her outfit, oh boy. She looks so put together, to me. The old fashioned bell and bell ringer.
David Zinman, conductor
Yo-Yo Ma, cello
MOZART Symphony No. 25
SCHUMANN Cello Concerto
SCHUMANN Symphony No. 2
Watching David Zinman diligently working, arms flying and all, I thought he looks like a hand-pull noodle maker 手拉面.
Ma Yoyo is world renowned cellist. I used to see him often in the past, when he played the classical pieces, as vs now, in 2010 and after, more of modern pieces. Emanuel Ax used to be his piano man for many of his recording.
