Have a leisure time at the Library after Central Park. The tourists are plentiful. Not really sure the library is their destinatin … Walked a total 7.3 miles

Caught the 6:49 train train into the city and this is what I see in Central Park …

No set schedule but many sites are on my mind.

The 3 star is for their bit too sweet taste – not their fault but mine – my dislike toward things too sweet. The few items we have are good. Shanghai cruise is on the sweet side. It’s a cash only shop.

Very good service – plastic bag for umbrellas. Disposable chopsticks heads, plastic gloves for Beijing duck, … spacious and clean bathroom. The atmosphere is more relaxing than their Flushing one.

A group of middle aged Chinese women (4) behind me are overly loud… Half roasted Beijing duck is $16.33 (^{$15 + 8.875% tax} take out).

Street parking. They open 9-11 so one more place for breakfast.

Down the memory lane …this is where a potential piano teacher lived, 20 some years ago.

Seeing her dad played piano day and night, my little princess said,
“I want to play”
“I want to play”
“I want to play”

So I got a reference and took them to meet this teacher. I liked her a lot, especially her living room where 3 pianos were parked. But unfortunately, my kids didn’t sync with her.

Next teacher was from China who said between his dozes, “do you have a parking space?” repeatedly and went on to say, “I’ll teach them bec they’re so talented.”

I’m a mouse-mom and failed to heed to his advise and went with another teacher.

As an afternote, the Chinese teacher died a few years later after a lesson: he slipped on ice. RIP…
