Pleasant, straightforward, bit pricy. Food and service are above average. I’m expecting a killer view but disappointed by the balcony wall – see through fiber glass (?) might serve better? They’ve out door seating but isn’t open. Oh well.
We’ve carrot cumin hummus, paella, chicken and scallops – the seafood cooked just right, juicy and tender. Fake cactus on the table. Why bother?
Parking at the museum is $15.

Point Vicente Lighthouse
The traffic from Getty museum almost ruined our little plan. We get there at the neck of time, 10 minutes before the sun set.

Nixon Presidential library
President Nixon goes to China. He was the first sitting president to visit China. US Grant visited after his presientcy and Herbert Hoover before his.
The library is elegant. In the China Room there are many photos and videos showing his visit, in one he said, without USSR he would have visited China. His 1973 trip had changed many Chinese, to the better, mines included. Thank you president Nixon.

Going to the Wild West
A hectic 3-night trip to California, and taking the red-eye flight home. Nothing was according to the plan.
Car rental: I haven’t been renting myself for a long long time and surprised to find there are many choices to choose from the same class of cars. I’ve medium and there is a huge tri-row seating suv, OMG. How does it qualify as a medium is beyond me. The attendant encourages me to drive that monster and I did get in but don’t know how to adjust the seat, therefore, chickens out, and pick another car, which is more of my size -:).
Sunny, sunny and sunny.

Bye LA, and hello NY
The security is visibly tight at LAX due to Westminster attack in London. Fortunately, we were able to catch an earlier flight out.
