Dirty! Litters are everywhere, in this part of Brooklyn.

This neighborhood on the East River, has a few landmarks. Williamsburg Savings Bank which was built 1870 to 75, Williamsburg Bridge, Peter Luger steak house, etc.

A little girl sits on her balcony … and the Sukkoth (sukkot) is everywhere.

Their Brooklyn chophouse is in Williamsburg, on the corner of Driggs Ave and Broadway, opposite from Williamsburg Savings Bank. A few doors west is the Davidoff of Geneva cigar shop. We parked near by and did our two bridges and 10 miles hike.

We were assigned to a terrible location, by the door. The servers are nice.

• Breads: great but the packed butter (commodity Butter?) feels cheap
• House red: Merlot, Pinot Noir and Cab: all are pretty good
• Caesar salad: good especially when we were all thirsty
• Cream spinach: the greenest I’ve had – really good
• German potato: good. Not many can screw up the versatile potato
• The $247.80 t-bone steaks for four is ok: had it better elsewhere

We didn’t have room for coffee nor dessert. Not sure what the average dinner consumes but when we ordered ONE Caesar salad and steak-for-four, for the five of us, the elderly serving staff looked a little puzzled. Really, it was just a dinner, we don’t want to stuff ourselves. And the amount of food was just fine.

白公馆现是医院门诊部. 其他几幢老宅也蛮有味道的.多伦路上各种建筑均有百花齐放的.

If you’re going west bound, take exit 32 toward Bell Blvd. At the traffic light, turn right.

Fresh flowers, pretty tiles, good service, pleasant decor, delicious tea (light, which I like), not noisy (!!) and decent food.

I particularly like the Beef Ox Tongue. The grill fish which is their specialty is fine but I won’t have it again: over priced for a dead fish.

Very glad this little eatery in Flushing is still in business, after the covid-19 pandemic (or we’re still in it …). The front section, which was a Fuzhou cuisine, seems closed, unfortunately.

I ordered breakfast to go, to have it at the US Open:

• Tofu pudding 豆腐花 $3 (small size)
• Donkey rolling 驴打滚 $1.75 (it’s huge!)
• Leek or chives pancakes 韭菜盒子 $2
• Fried stick cake w/ red bean 炸糕 $2

… And the post office is gleaming under a blue sky.
