This 29-acre public park, originally was a baseball field from 1924 to 1990, donated by Calvin and wife Martha Payne in 1923. It had been the training camp for Red Sox, White Sox and New York Giants.
The NW corner is the tennis center where Sarasota Open holds here annually since 2022.
A small eatery with good quality food. Wish they don’t use disposable chopsticks – will bring my own next time -:(
This is our first Japanese restaurant in Florida recently, and not surprised to see Sesame Chicken (Chinese), Thai tea, Thai Pad noodles, etc. on the menu. The Asian ethnic cuisine has a long way to go.
A friend has invited us there for a few times but we were unable to go. Today we finally made it.
