Jeremy and I revisited it today. We went there during his first trip to New York in 1990, after the Wall Street tour. At that time, I remembered ran into his friend Chai from Amex in the skybridge. The pix below are from today (2016) and 1984 Oktoberfest in Munich.
I’d lunch with a friend who had moved back to New York in 2000 at the Chinese restaurant here, who would escape the attack the following year.
More than quarter of century had gone by, so much had happened since. We matured and grew stronger, so did USA. Going downtown is never easy for me since the attack. Regardless of ugly politics, this is still the land of freedom, where dreams become true. Ideas survive forever. Long Live USA.
At the back, it opens up to the World Financial Center Plaza and the North Cove Yacht Harbor, which is on the Hudson River.
Many green spaces are public.
