Place de la Bataille-de-Stalingrad @ La Villette
The Battle of Stalingrad was one of the major battles in World War II, resulted in Russian victory over the invading Germans. The French laid down for the Germans in two weeks, and they had nothing to do with the Battle of Stalingrad. Just thinking out loud.
The square is at the junction of two canals: Canal de l’Ourcq and Saint-Martin, looking out to PBC Paname.
