Walkway over the Hudson

We were turned away in 2017 due to pending storm. Today, we left home under a cloudy skies but once we got to the parking lot at the Walkway, sun came out, for the rest of the day, even at Tanglewood.
The park is nicely updated since 2017. The two parking lots: the paved one (slightly upper) is fee based and the ragged one is free.
For $10,000 you can have a medallion installed: how about using it as the resting place, throw the ashes into the Hudson?
There is a tram … I didn’t use it but we turned at the mid point of the bridge, the Flag. There is a lift to go down, and a bowl of water for the furry friends.
