Intimate is the word for this little heaven. Just like his sculptures. I’ve been his fan since primary school time, when the private art teacher showed me a book titled 罗丹艺术论 (Art Theory of Rodin). I did’t understand the theory any better than neuroscience or rocket science but falling in love with his arts, rather erotic sculptures. My appreciation was genuine, not because of his book/arts was taboo at the time. Visiting his museums @ Stanford (it houses the largest collection of his, outside of Paris), and Met in New York (which has many exquisite pieces) and Paris has always been the highlight of my trips. The Philly’s although is small but gives you a different experience: intimacy. And I would vote the bathroom there is the best in the world.
The front of the building is adorned by The Gates of Hell. It’s dark and hellish. A skinny black gentleman said to me, “I don’t know what Mr. Rodin was thinking” as he was sweeping the floor.

It is nice; cost $23, on par with Huntington and NY Botanical Garden. Wiki. The map of the Gardens (PDF). 240,000 tulips is being advertised but the ticketing agent over the phone said, the tulips are pretty much over: not too cool.
The surprise is the poppy – the flowers are very pretty.

This little French restaurant is pretty popular with locals. However, it’s closing down in two weeks. The owner is an elderly Vietnamese lady who said this has becoming too much for her. None of her family members, although help her to run but is not interested to continue.
BYOB is encouraged and they don’t charge corkage fee. Many dinners bring multiple bottles.
The rack of lamb is good, so is the grapefruit salad. The warm bread is really good. The black ravioli sauce is interesting, I finished it with the last piece of bread.
Coney Island, Philadelphia, Princeton & New York
My gf came to visit. We stopped at Coney Island on our way from JFK to Philadelphia, to avoid evening rush hour traffic. The weather has been great for us for the time period. Although we were a little late but we caught the last ray – IF I were ready for her fight DL 3990 that came in 30 min earlier, we could have had better day light for pictures.
