New York’s 5th Avenue on the east side of Central Park is a major thoroughfare, from Washington Square Park sown south (Greenwich Village) to 143rd Street up north in Harlem. Between 34th to 59th streets has many brand name stores, 59th to 96th streets is known as Millionaire’s Row.

It’s interesting to note, that although it runs (one way, south bound) the entire length of Central Park (to its west side), the Park Avenue in the City is one block over to the east.

Dogs at Central Park
On the east side of the park, by Fifth Avenue by 67th Street is a status of Siberian Husky. The plaque below the sled dog read:
Dedicated to the indomitable spirit of the sled dogs that relayed antitoxin six hundred miles over rough ice, across treacherous waters, through Arctic blizzards from Nenana to the relief of stricken Nome in the Winter of 1925.
