The Ball of 2016

It’s held at Union Station, equivalent of New York’s Grand Central, for parents as well for the kids. $100 pp with open bar. Food isn’t too bad. We got off the cab and walked – not worth the trouble to maneuver to the entrance. The bracelet made the check in a breeze. We left at 12 midnight, leave the kids to have fun. They did and closed out the bar at 2am – even the event ran from 9 pm to 1 am.

The best lunch ever

I thought we were going to finish their leftovers (just kidding) since it’s their last few days in their houses. But boy was I right: they prepared it. Complete with desserts and bubbles.

How can I thank you kids? I swallowed food and bubbles with tears of joy.

The seven lined up, thanked their parents and loved ones, toasting as much to us as to themselves. The victory lap is drinking directly from the bottle. Way to go kids! The campus life has finished. Real life is about to begin. Good luck to you all, kids. We love you very much, wish you all the best.

Georgetown water front park

The Potomac River is pretty busy: rowing, ducks, helicopters and seagulls, making a wonderful day even more enjoyable. Youtube rowing and heli.
