The Waterfront @ Trump Link

500 Hutchinson River Pkwy
Trump Golf Links
Bronx, NY 10465

A thumb up and definitely will return.

The Waterfront NYC at Trump Link (Ferry Point) is a nice place to dine or have a drink, for non golfers as well. The neighborhood around it is a little depressing but the facility itself is very decent.

Setting. View. Service. Food. All good.

We ordered Margherita pizza and pan seared Faroe Island salmon, which decorated w/ pea shoots, baby carrots, three kinds of cauliflowers, are just perfect for the summer. Their thick beurre blanc sauce is delicious.

Guess Mr. Trump didn’t spare any cost, i.e. the golf cars passing by are silent (compare to some courses using gas and are very noisy, as obnoxious.)

Also, the little handheld payment processor is great too.

Maritime Museum, New York

6 Pennyfield Ave,
Bronx, NY 10465

The Maritime Industry Museum at Fort Schuyler is in the borough of Bronx, New York City. It is under the Throggs Neck bridge, on the campus of SUNY’s Martine College; looking out to Whitestone Bridge, where we had lunch at Trump’s Link

The museum is housed in the Fort Schuyler. This fortification, with Fort Totten in the current Bay Terrace across the water, meant to defend the attacks from Long Island Sound. It was built between 1835 and 1856.

Fort Schuyler was named after Continental Army General Philip Schuyler (1733-1804). It also housed Stephen B Lucy library and a couple of other entities.

The exhibits are more of 1900s and on.
