Chinese lantern 🏮 灯笼
Physalis alkekengi is a hardy perennial that grows pretty fast, at least in my garden.
When we visited the Sunken Garden on January 21 which was the lunar new year eve, the Lantern Festival was 16 days away. I’ve seen this flower/plant many times before, New York botanical garden but never thought of growing it myself … who not now?
