Love their high ceiling and brick walls. Parking and bathroom, needs a little time to come by. This was a surprise, given the location, neither NY or SF.
Decent food and good service. Tap water needs to be required due to the drought. Come on, people, get real. I knew rain has not been frequenting this part of the earth, but how many carafes of water could prolong the dry weather?
I ordered the short rib. Soft and yummy, however, it somewhat reminds me of chunky Dongpo pork 东坡肉 but not as tasty as the Chinese pork. (I’m aware that I compare beef to pork.)
$35 for a 5-oz glass of wine posted on the board by the bar. It seems a bit too much: for that kind of wine (nearly $200 a bottle – in general, 750 ml bottle could pour little over four 5-oz or six glasses 4-oz.), who would pay for it – lord knows how long the bottle’s been opened?
