Merlot: right is Pellegrini and left Paumanok. Pellegrini’s color is livelier and richer but P’s taste better.
This restaurant with low ceiling is on the Long Island Sound. Cute bathroom. Decent service. Sinatra and Armstrong sing lovely melodies.
However, I won’t go back: waiting staff wear dirty apron. Lousy tableware. Terrible breads and butter, so were the food. The baked claims taste like from supermarket frozen section. Rice’s cold. Two pieces of poultry (I ordered duck) seem oddly put together – not sure they’re even related.
