A local fave, we came for the monthly lunch with my tennis buddies. It’s on the Tampa Bay, looking west to St. Petersburg and south to Tampa. Aside from sunbathers (at this time of the year, very few did venture out into the water), other diners, we also got seagulls, abundantly.
Casual atmosphere, good service. Food is good but mostly are fried. I ordered calamari steak and it’s fried. They served wine in a glass and beers in plastic.
They became headline news in 2015 when a 30-foot boat crashed into their deck. Here is ABC Action News report. Two photos of the crash are on the wall.
