Penn Station 宾州车站

34th St @ 7th Ave
New York

Took LIRR into Penn Station in the City. Single ride is $9.25 off peak ($12.50 peak).

Pennsylvania Station in New York City opened in 1910, is a major train hub, now owned by Amtrak. It’s the link between Long Island to the city, subway lines, Path (not under the same roof). Madison Square Garden is under the same roof or, don’t have to go outside.

B&H camera shop; Hudson Yard, then dinner at Ping’s in Chinatown.

Ping’s Seafood 昇辉

22 Mott Street
New York, NY

I would give it 3.5 out of 5: the food is average but I do like the fact that they provide seafood forks (such a low expectation) where many other Chinese restaurants don’t, and their bathroom is clean.

A friend bought his private collect: Tucu Quere super premium Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 (he said he imported them directly from Chili) but the wine glasses suck.

~ Pan fried stuffed veggie roll in beancurd: good
~ Stir-fried baby silver fish w/ veggie: good
~ Baked conch Portuguese style: so so, too much other stuff. hardly any conch
~ Peking duck: no good (I despise the bread: should be thin creep! Even this is a Cantonese restaurant.)
~ steamed sea bass: really good (I ate the head)
~ Sirloin beef (牛腩) soup: very good
~ house fried rice: really good

Their walls are covered with photos of patrons, from Michael Bloomberg to Jack Ma Yun … yes, we chuckled: where is Jack now? Forbes weights in as what’s really happened to him.
