In north shore Long Island’s Manhasset (wiki). This stretch of Northern Blvd has many brand name shops, Americana, and Lord Taylor that is still expending. Prior, the parking is pretty tight. Not sure what’s now. The name Miracle Mile is from Billy Joel’s song “It’s Still Rock and Roll To Me”
On the north side of the Northern Blvd, it’s the home of many geese (斑头雁 ban tou yan，學名Anser indicus，又名白头雁、黑纹头雁). In recent years, it has been upgraded, the playing field is busy with multiple groups of kids, sometimes adults too. Three videos: They must forget to take birth control pills; are dating and the traffic in the background.
wiki states: The bar-headed goose (Anser indicus) is a goose that breeds in Central Asia in colonies of thousands near mountain lakes and winters in South Asia, as far south as peninsular India. It lays three to eight eggs at a time in a ground nest.

This Chinese restaurant on Northern Blvd., has been there for ages.
I dined there a few times decades ago. They present themself as fine dining but it’s only average. The food is ok and, more for the non Chinese. The small dining hall in the back, has a few old looking objects, trying hard to be sophisticated. However, the low ceiling makes me feel suffocating.

The Meeting House, next to Manhasset Library, was founded by the Society of Friends in 1702. Used continuously as a place of worship except when occupied by British and Hessian forces during the American Revolution. In 1812 the original meeting house was demolished and rebuilt using the original benches and timbers. The oak tree is one of the oldest and largest on Long Island.
