Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum

This museum is for the Jewish refugees during WWII living in Shanghai. I went there too late, missing it again. The coffee house across the street is still servicing. Otherwise the area is pretty dead.

Sunday brunch

To celebrate a girl who just being promoted to the head of major oil company in China. OMG, it’s so cool! She’s going to move fm Shanghai to Beijing soon. We yoga/stretch in the morning and watch a volleyball match, and feast. Even the macaroons are home made.

The duck is not good, it’s awesome great. Btw, I crab them out of the pond, ha ha ha, just kidding.

… then move to the tea house they just built. The sink washbowl is a piece of wood. The thin blind is between two layers of glass – avoid dust.

Hairy/mitten crab feast 大闸蟹

It’s the season! Autumn is definitely a good time to go to China. I’ve plenty da zha crab (wiki) during this trip, mainly in Shanghai and Zhuhai. Out of all restaurants and private home, only the one in Zhuhai offers gloves and gadgets. The rest didn’t provide utensils! Hello, how do expect us to eat?
